G7, NATO summits and eagerness to be the outpost of western imperialism

The NATO summit, following immediately after this meeting of G7, had been designed as the meeting of reorganizing NATO that was left with no enemies after the collapse of WARSAW Pact.

It seems that June 2021 is to be a step to drop a note in history for western imperialism in the fight for divvying up the world amongst imperialists.

It is because USA and its allies, western imperialists, had not demonstrated such an appearance of wholeness and unity against China and Russia since 1990’s when Soviet Union (SU)   had formally withdrawn from the stage of history.

Indeed, Australia, India, and South Korea, the most important rivals of China in Asia, also signed the declaration in the centre of openly targeting China, at the G7 summit that started on the last Friday.

In the G7 declaration, Russia was also called    “to end its detrimental and destabilizing activities in the countries that have democratic systems.

The NATO summit, following immediately after this meeting of G7, had been designed as the meeting of reorganizing NATO that was left with no enemies after the collapse of WARSAW Pact.

Made at NATO summit in the lights of decisions taken by G7 in complete wholeness and unity, the decisions showed the start of giving their fruits with the help of the attempts Biden administration made through NATO.

The position that the western imperialists at G7 primarily assumed their common goals also continued at NATO summit.

In his shared statement about the NATO leaders summit he attended, the USA President Joe Biden specifically emphasized “the aggressiveness of Russia” and “the strategic problems caused by China.

The Brussels summit approved the “2030 Strategic Concept” which is the document of “2020-2030 Mission” of NATO. You will read the details of the summit on our news pages.

SPOKE AS THE MOST OBEDIENT MEMBER OF NATO

Right after NATO summit , first Erdogan-Biden meeting took place. After the meeting, coming before the news reporters, while the President Erdogan said “It was an out most beneficial and sincere meeting. We think that there is no issue in Turkey-USA relations that couldn’t be resolved,” Biden made the statement “We had a positive and a useful meeting.”

Days before the meeting, regardless how the meeting was to pass, it was known that Erdogan and Biden would comment as such. But the comments were not only limited to this.

Specifically Erdogan, stating “from the Mediterranean to the Black Sea, from Europe to Asia, NATO should assume its role wherever the security umbrella provided by the alliance is needed. While we have made NATO militarily stronger, we decided to take steps towards fortifying its political side,” he praised NATO to the skies!

Therefore, Erdogan demonstrated that he adopted the NATO’s hostile position against China and Russia, and the intimidation of Iran.

‘THANK GOD’ BIDEN DID NOT BRING UP THE ARMENIAN GENOCIDE!

As such, ever since Biden, in his speech on April 24, he used the term “Armenian genocide,” the daily agenda of Turkey was “Biden  said Armenian genocide.” In return, whenever it came up in the agenda, Erdogan, had stated “he would ask Biden about it in his face to face meeting on June 14.” Following the meeting with Biden, the reporters asked Erdogan “whether the Armenian genocide came up during the meeting.” Erdogan’s response was “Thank God, it did not come up.” This response was received in both astonishment and noteworthy manner. Consequently, as the opposition dealers of internal politics market, the opposition preferred to kick it around Erdogan’s “Thank God, it did not come up” phrase for Armenian genocide, instead of taking up his position obedient, westerner, alinement to NATO, and in cooperation with imperialists.

AFGHANISTAN MISSION: EAGERNESS FOR THE OUTPOST OF IMPERIALISM

As we understand from Erdogan’s statements during NATO summit and after the meetings held with Biden,  the conflicts between USA and Turkey are just the following two set of issues:

1) the issues with S-400’s and related to F-35’s,

2) the issue of USA providing support for Syrian Democratic Forces and PYD in Syria. And Erdogan has been indicating that such issues would be resolved through the meetings of the related ministries.

Thus, Erdogan has proclaimed that he has given up on his claims such as “master mind”, “the real power behind the coup attempt on July 15”, “intrigue of imperialists on Turkey”, “National security of Turkey”, “survival” ..., and that he used these as the material for internal politics.

In his statements after his meetings with Macron and Mitsotakis, saying that they would resolve the issues with these two countries through negotiations, Erdogan  has stated that, not only with USA,  there have been no real serious issues  with Greece and France either.

In this case, even if such questions as those in the following can be brought up: “Alright then, what about those stand-offs with Greece and France in the eastern Mediterranean; the noisy fights reaching to the level of boycotting of French goods attempted in the context of “civilization wars” with France for years; the attempts to make the peoples of these countries enemies of each other? What were they for?”, but when the one such questions are asked to is Erdogan, it is not a thing unexpected that they hang in the air unanswered, even responded to.

Presumably, it seems as a “ransom” for the position of “enemy of the west” that is a consequence of Ihvan-Islamist position or perhaps of taking it up for the aims of internal politics up to now, that he presented to Biden a package of Turkey’s desire to undertake the security and operations of Kabil Airport; despite that USA declared the withdrawal of all NATO forces from Afghanistan by September 11, 2021.

Without a doubt, behind the eagerness for the “Afghanistan mission”,  there are footprints of “proving the obedience to imperialism” in addition to “saviour of ummah” and “neo-Ottomanist” foreign political position (claiming to be the game setter). But, we will not entertain this argument here today.

However, no matter what its aim is, having no meaning beyond being an outpost of western imperialism, the bill for Erdogan’s “Afghanistan mission for NATO” will be very huge; it is very clear that no economic, diplomatic or logistic aid will be able to lighten that bill, either.

Let’s be the one to have warned beforehand.
