Fundraiser for man who was assaulted after hit-and-run taking place Friday

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) - A fundraiser to help a man who was assaulted following a hit-and-run accident in March is taking place on Friday.
The fundraiser will begin at 7 p.m. on April 11 at Eastside Cantina located at 125 Oak Street. It will feature food, raffles, prizes and an opportunity to donate to help Nato Montoya.
A video of two women attacking Montoya made its rounds on social media. Montoya told police the women allegedly slammed into his car before they assaulted him.
Organizers say all funds raised will go toward Montoya’s medical expenses and other expenses from the assault.
